33 Years and Counting
It’s hard to believe that it has been 33 years since our wedding day. Sometimes it seems like yesterday.
I recently read a quote on a site I follow called Amazing Grace that
describes life perfectly:
“Isn’t it funny how day by day nothing changes, but when you look back, everything is different?”
Isn’t that the truth?
Our kids are all grown up and have moved all over the United States. We have a GRANDdaughter. After living in the same area for 32 years, we moved to sunny Florida. We got to watch our son propose to his beautiful fiancé. We’ve made new friends, and now more than ever–we treasure our old ones.
Different concerns—added prayers. New church. Different purpose.
But with all of those things that did change from our beginning, I’m thankful for what will remain the same–our faith, God’s promises, and our ending.
