About
When I started my blog a few years ago, A Change-N-Me was such an appropriate title. I’m at a different place in my life now – physically, mentally, and spiritually, so I felt it was time for a change. Live-Write seems appropriate for now.
I hope you enjoy reading about my ups and downs, and that they inspire you in some way!
I’m a proud member of the 60’s club. I have been blessed with 3 sons, three daughter-in-laws, a beautiful granddaughter, and a grandson. I’m married to a man who loves the Lord more than anything in this world, and I’m the daughter of an incredible God.
All I ever wanted out of life was to be happily married, to have children, and to provide a loving home. My husband asked me if I wanted to marry someone who wants to be in the ministry, and I said “sure!” Years later, I struggled with being a minister’s wife. I didn’t feel worthy. Fast forward to today, and I love it because I know that being a minister’s wife doesn’t mean you have to be able to sing, play the piano, or talk in front of people. There is so much more to serving Christ than those qualifications. (Although it would’ve been nice.)
The one thing I know for sure is that as long as my heart continues to beat, I will continue to share the many blessings and lessons that God has given me – even when life was/is hard.
Lovely! I adore your blog. Thanks, for reading mine.
Thank you! I feel the same about yours! What a gift you have. I always shared stories on my Facebook page, and someone suggested that I start a blog – so, I did! If nothing else, it’s a place where my future grandchildren (that aren’t even born yet!) can go and see what their grandma was like and what was loved. : )
So true! Just know that your future grandchildren will have a wonderful gift from you to enjoy forever! 🙂
I love your passion for our King and your laid down life. Thanks for sharing.
Unfortunately, It took me a few years to get to that point. I wasn’t raised in a church, and didn’t become a Christian until I was 21. It was all because of some close friends… who cared enough to share THEIR passion for the Lord – with me. So thankful!
I wholeheartedly agree with you. Went on my first mission trip to the Crow nation. Before that I’ve always been actively engaged with missions. Have many missionary friends throughout the world. Hope God will allow me to do the same here in Russia. Just have to be patient for his timing.
It’s all about his timing, for sure! Thanks for sharing!
