Good Friday
There’s something special about receiving a compliment, having your meal paid for, or receiving a gift when you weren’t expecting it. It’s like you’ve won the lottery when someone allows you to be the next one in line at the crowded grocery store – especially when you know they were standing there first. All those things can certainly lift your spirits and make you feel like life is good. Like …. you must be doing something right.
All temporary…
In a world that has caused us to focus so much on me, myself, and I – and what ‘I’ can get out of it, I think today, Good Friday, is a good day to remember the example that was set for us. Let it change our hearts.
Forgive. Love others. Honor Him through your works – through your words – through your life. Ask yourself – can anyone see Jesus in me?
Jesus ~ eternal life.
“…if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.” (Romans 8:11)
